Oh Lord, how the people of First Baptist Jacksonville and the amazing people they brought in fed our spirits and souls. As pastor and a pastor's wife we are so often feeding the flock that we don't always get fed. We can not express how grateful we are that the church allowed us to go and saw it fit to send us. Our minds, hearts, spirits and souls are completely rejuvenated. We can't wait to share what we learned with the church.
This was in the floor of the main area. Off each point
was another flower with scripture in it. It was beautiful!
This was amazing to see. Dr. Brunson asked all pastors
to come down front. 50 and over were on one side 49
and under on the other. Then he asked them to find
someone on the opposite side and pray with them. So all
the guys down front are pastors praying for pastors. It
was absolutely MOVING!
This stone was set in the wall of the main sanctuary.
It was beautiful. It has all the names by which we
know Christ.
These two give you some idea of how big this church
was and how many people were there. Sunday morning
we worshiped with 12,000 other people. Talk about
hearing a choir of angels singing praises to God. It was
AWESOME. The sound of 12,000 Bible pages turning
at the same time, I was in awe.
