Here is our new (new to us) home in TN. This home holds so many memories for me.
It was built in 1950 by my Papaw Taylor (mom's dad). This is house my uncle and
my mom were both brought home to. They both grew up here. I spent many a nights
with my grandparents here. We celebrated countless holidays, birthdays and fun times
together in this house. And now my family gets to make precious memories in this
house. I pray my girls will have some of their most memorable and wonderful
memories in this house.
It is a basement rancher with a sun room and one car garage.
This is the kitchen my grandmother and her sisters use to All the woodwork is one of my
make amazing dinners in. I am so excited to get to make favorites! It is stunningly beautiful!
amazing dinners in it as well. These are the original Looking down our hallway to the
cabinets my grandparents put in the house. RETRO! bedrooms.
This is looking into the upstairs den from the hallway.
Our dining room is on the other side of the couch.
Our upstairs bathroom is unique (at least to this day and time). The toilet
is separate from the shower. They did this years ago so the lady could
be getting ready while the gentleman showered and shaved. The vanity
years ago stretched from the toilet to the door and had a stool to sit and
do makeup and hair.
This is the before picture. This is a built in
bookshelf (my grandfather built) in Isabella's
room. It is getting painted white and the back
ground to each shelf will be alternating blue
and pink. And the doors on the cabinets will
be painted with chalkboard paint. (I'll post
more pics when it is done.)
