Welcome to the Paris Apartment and a preteens dream.
Our baby girl turned 11 on Friday, March 15th. She asked for a tea party for her birthday. And it just so happens that mine and my mom's favorite tea room moved from Sweetwater to Knoxville. The owner Debbie Odom graciously welcomed us into her temporary location and catered Isabella's tea party. As you can tell it was a Paris theme and it was any little or big girls dream. The tea party was a semi traditional British tea party. (as Debbie lived in England for years) We started with sparkling cranberry juice in fabulous Eiffel tower goblets. She then served us British tea, British style and cranberry scones. (lets say YUM!) Then we were served British tea sandwiches. All the girls tried at least one but a couple ended up just doing the back up PB and J. The finishing touch was a Pavlova dessert, which was to die for!
