Welcome to the country

Look at this beautiful working farm. It was magnificent to see!

When we were out last night, we got to see our first storm roll in. Here are a few pictures of what it looked like.

This is a beautiful church that is quite old in our community. I can only imagine the history this church holds.

Sorry there are so many pictures on this entry but we have been going and seeing the past few days. While we were out yesterday we watched an amazing storm roll across the fields. It was very beautiful and amazing to see the sky change so quickly. There are so many old buildings here that hold so much history and if the walls could talk I could only imagine what they might say.

Today we needed to go out so instead of taking our normal route to Roanoke Rapids we headed to Virginia. We are only 20 miles or so from the VA line so off we went. We got to see more amazing land and the working farms that we saw were just beautiful. We are so blessed to be living in "the country"! We have unbelievable beauty all around us and all we can do is soak it up and Praise God, He put us here.
