Pastor's Conference 2012

On Wednesday, January 25th we dropped the girls off at school gave tons of hugs and we were on the road to Jacksonville, FL. We were headed to the 2012 Pastor's Conference that First Baptist of Jacksonville hosts. This is our second year attending and can't wait for many more years to attend. Last year we attended for a class Travis was taking for seminary credit. But when we got there and found that our hearts began to overflow with the amazing word of God being spoke by amazing pastors we couldn't wait to go back this year. We went with open minds and hearts yearning to hear God's word proclaimed by Godly men (and woman).

When we got to Jacksonville Wednesday night we ran over to the beach

 just to put our feet in the sand.

Our day started early Thursday morning but it started

off with amazing sermons.

There were also 8 baptisms while we were there.

Us of course and our dear friends Curtis and Emily Pixler. (We met them

while we were serving in Potecasi. Curtis and Emily serve at Union Baptist

Church in Ahoskie, NC.)

I included the pictures of speakers because many of you may know some of them or you may not. But I encourage you to go and search them out. Listen to the sermons! Each one was amazing and brought forth such truth through the gospel. We are already planning and looking forward to going next year.
