This morning Isabella went for her second orthodontist appointment. After talking to Dr. Gilbert (who is absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable) we made the decision to go ahead and start straighting Isabella's sweet little teeth. This process is starting with her 4 top front teeth. (this will also help her self esteem since she has gotten very self conscience of her teeth recently) This phase one process will take about 30 weeks (give or take). During this time she is VERY LIMITED on what she can eat and drink. And there is absolutely NO CHEWING GUM! Which for Isabella is going to be extremely difficult. But I think she is going to be a real trooper. Phase 2 will start shortly after she phase 1 is done and she has a little break in between. Dr. Gilbert is expecting this will take a couple of years once we start phase 2. But in the meantime here is what she looked like when we brought her home. Our sweet girl looks even more grown up.

She opted for dark purple bands on the brackets.
