I found the idea for the adorable capes on a blog I read often, Nap Time Journal. They were super easy and I had a blast making them. I tried a few of the stitches my sewing machine will do just to see how they work and look. They are great! I am also trying to teach myself how to do simple embroidery. (I will never be a professional but at least I can add their names or initials to things.)
