School is DONE! Well for Isabella this year is over. She finished her standardized testing today and she did absolutely wonderful!!!! Liberty University Online uses the Standford10 online testing. Here are her results:
Total Reading 94.8% 9.4
Total Mathematics 83.7% 6.3
Language 77.7% 6.5
Spelling 88.7% 7.2
Science 95.8% 11.8
Social Science 94.8% 12.3
Total Battery 88.7% 8.2
Okay so here is what all these numbers mean. The percentages are her percentile rank-stanine (or in laymans terms where she ranked nationally among other third graders). So national she did better than 88.7% of other third graders who took this test. Hooray!
The second numbers are grade equivalents. So in reading she has a grade equivalent of a ninth grader. Her reading included word study skills, reading vocabulary and reading comprehension (she maxed out this category). You can see how pleased we are with how her studies have gone and how much she has learned. Her overall grade equivalent is eighth grade. (scarey thougth hun!?)
As a side note: I would recommend Liberty to anyone. It is Biblically based and they learn so much. Liberty has been wonderful to work with.
She is just awesome. She must take it after her auntie amy. No wonder she acts like a teenager that is because she thinks like one.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We hope to be enrolled in their program by Sarah's 9th grade year. I wanted her to give it a try this coming year (7th grade) but she wants me to teach her at least one more year.
