I couldn't help but put this on here. Olivia drew this a few weeks ago in art. As I looked at all the other kids drawings I noticed they looked happy and cheerful. So I asked Olivia why hers looked surprised or upset. Here is what I got.
Me: Olivia, why do you look surprised or upset?
Olivia: Because I am upset, Mom.
Me: Why are you upset?
Olivia: Because I can't have a pet unicorn.
Yes, you read right. She wants a pet unicorn. She has been asking for one for months now. We have explained that 1. unicorns are not real and 2. we have nowhere to put a pet that big. Neither explanation is good enough for her.
Whitney, that is flat adorable!!!! So precious for her to look back and see this one day.
